In this version 5.1.6 release of PDF Automation, issues related to activities’ functionality and execution in Assisted Robot have been resolved. Fixes have been applied to make the activity stable and secure. There are no changes to the feature group in terms of functionality. The feature group with the same eight activities, Get PDF objects, Merge Pages & Files, PDF Create, etc. are available.

Bugs Fixed

Fixed:  After making the selection by page number, the Extract text window did not show the chosen page in PDF to Text Extract activity. So, user was unable to mark and extract the required text.

Fixed: Skip on error is used to decide whether to continue executing the workflow despite encountering an error or discontinue executing if an error was encountered. This function was not working for the following activities in the PDF Automation Grouping:

• Merge pages
• Merge Files.
• Text Extractor
• Split
• PDF to Text Extract
• PDF to Table extract

 Fixed:  While executing the PDF Create activity in Assisted Robot v 5.2.1.3, “The type initializer for 'sun. java2d.Disposer' threw an exception" error was encountered.

Open Issue

PdfToTextExtract activity will not work for invoices that contain images.
