Portable DataBase
The activities grouped under this package helps create a database in the local system enabling users to extract large amount of data, swiftly. Thus, it facilitates extraction of data in minimal time during the run-time.
For instance, if a user wants to extract one hundred thousand records using excel/ Data table activities, it would take quite some time to extract the data. Embedded database is an enhancement to execute the task in a very short time.
Additionally, it enables you to create tables, backups for DBs, delete DBs and tables, import data and export CSV data.
Important Note
The Package has been renamed as Portable Data Base with the version revised to 1.0.0. Now you have an additional option to encrypt the created DB. All other Property Fields and Functionalities remain unchanged in CreateDB activity.

Drag and drop a create DB activity from the Portable DataBase Automation package.

Double click on it to enable the Configure Database wizard. Click on it.

Provide the location of the database and its name. Click on Database availability to check the same.
If it is available, you will be notified.

Click on Finish and input values will be populated.
Note: By default, Display Name is set as activity name, however, the user can give a new name.

After you execute, the DB will be created. The success of the execution will be displayed in the output panel.

Thus, the DB is created.
