When to use the Move File activity

This activity is used when you want to move a file from one destination to another.

Drag and drop a Move File activity from the OS Functions package. Double Click on it.

Provide the Source File Path from where the file has to be moved. Also, browse and select the Destination Path to which the file needs to be moved. Click Ok.

Execute.

It will be moved to the specified location.

While moving the file to the specified location, if a similar file exists, you will need an option to overwrite the file. Check the box adjacent to the Overwrite File field in scenarios where you want to replace the existing file.
