Google Cognitive - An Overview

The following steps are the prerequisites to Generate your service account key that will be used to set up connection and authentication for the Google cognitive activities.

• Sign into your Google Account
• In the Cloud Console, on the project selector page, select or create a Cloud project
• Make sure that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project
• Enable the Cloud Vision API
• Set up authentication. A JSON file that contains your key downloads to your computer. Ensure the generated key is not shared.
• Set the environment variable GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS to the path of the JSON file that contains your service account key. This will be used in the Google Vision Scope that sets up connection and authentication for Google Cognitive activities.
• The activities work with the account specified inside the Application Scope. Multiple authentication types are available. The authentication type that will be used is the Service account Key with the key type being JSON file.
