Provision To Copy Configured Fields

To quickly setup a project in interact, you now have an option to copy and use an existing project interact configuration as a template and set one up.

Navigate to: SmartInteract à Configuration à Project Setup

Select the Yet To Configure status(1). Select the Tenant( 2)and the Project (3)in which you want to copy the already configured fields.(4) Click on the Go button.

The chosen Program and Project will be displayed.(5) Click on the row to select the row and click on the Copy button.(6)

The Copy Configuration From page will be enabled. Proceed to select the(1) Environment, (2) Tenant and the(3) Project from which you are going to copy the entire configuration, starting from step one to step nine. Click on the Copy button.(4)

The first step (Field Configuration) is displayed. Click on the Next button. As you go to the next step the previous steps will be copied. At any step, modifications can be made and updated before clicking on the next button. These modifications will be copied.

Keep clicking on the next button and when you reach the 9th step, click on Finish.

Click Yes.

You will get a reiterating message and all nine steps’ configurations will be copied from the configured project to the yet to configure project, which will now reflect in the configured project dropdown. Refer the ensuing image.

The project now has the copied configuration and thus is displayed under the configured status.

Additional Information

The API URL and Key against each environment for each project is unique, hence this 10th step will not be copied.

In all other nine steps the data will be copied. However, It will generate a new API key for the project in which configurations have been copied.

One can view the updated History using the Eye icon. Click on it.

Configured Pages will be displayed with details such as Configuration, Updated By and Update on information.
