Known issues:

  • Toolbox - when auto hide is used user cannot unhide it. To work around this defect click View menu and select the toolbox to enable it.
  •  Drag and Drop activity from toolbox does not work. Here are some steps you can take to correct this issue.
    • Uninstall all previous versions of the Designer and install only the latest version
    • Try opening another workflow from a different project and re-try.
    • Change log level to trace, execute the workflow and submit a ticket in Service now for further investigation.
  • Double click to add activity into workflow canvas fails for the below listed activities, instead use drag and drop for these activities, which are: For Each, PickwithTwoBranchesFactory, Receive and Send Reply, Send and Receive Reply, State, FinalState.
  • Unsaved workflow indicated by Asterix symbol does not show for workflows with these activities. To work around it, use any other activity in the workflow and you should be able to save it.

Add to Collection, Clear Collection, Exists in Collection, Remove From Collection, Cancellation Scope, DoWhile, For Each, If, Parallel, Pick, PickwithTwoBranchesFactory, Sequence, Switch<T>, Transaction Scope, While, Add, Delete, View, GetValue, SetValue, ReThrow, Throw, TryCatch, Flowchart, FlowDecision, Flow Switch, Invoke Delegate, Invoke Method, Invoke Workflow, Receive and Send Reply, Send and Receive Reply, Assign, Cancellation Scope, Confirm, State Machine, Terminate Workflow, WriteLine

  • Feature descriptions for activity downloaded by workflow will not be the latest version. However, this will not affect the function of the activity.
  • The designer will temporarily move to not responding state on right clicking the designer panel when features download is in progress and will return to normal after the download completes.
  • Experimental run - When Debug with time interval of zero seconds is used on a workflow with infinite loop the Designer will respond slowly, and Abort function will become un-responsive. To work around this issue, increase the debug time interval to 1 second.
  • Experimental Debug the Yellow color highlight used for indicating the flow control in workflow tends to stop on certain scenarios.
  • When using Outlook activity in designer "Application class error" is generated. To work around this issue please define a variable with name "Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.ApplicationClass"
