In this release of Robility Runner, an issue in log deletion has been fixed and code obfuscation has been done to secure the application. There are no changes to the application functionality due to this and the latest version can be downloaded from the Robility Runner product download page.

Bugs Fixed

After uninstalling the Admin version, an unhandled exception folder was created inside the log folder, because of which the log folder was not getting deleted after uninstalling the Runner. This was mentioned in the previous release as a known issue and is now fixed.

Other Enhancements

Code Obfuscation done.

A new parameter  called Server has been added in the Elastic log/URL. Previously, all Runner logs connected to all 3 environments were displayed in Manager in Robot monitoring, Environment and in allocated queue sub- menus. Also all services links were displayed in log viewer in the admin menu in Manager. But after adding the server parameter only the specific log details related to the respective connected environment and specific services such as Designer, Runner, Credential, etc., log details will be displayed in Manager. This kind log segregation makes tracking seamless and makes log view a user-friendly experience.

Unit Testing  was done for the new parameter.

Open Issues

The Named Pipe log file will not be deleted after uninstalling the admin version of  the Runner. This will be fixed in the future release.
