This release includes enhancements and bug fixes designed to improve
your experience and expand your capabilities on our platform.
Introduction of new activities
• ScreenRecorder: This feature enables users to record the sequence of
actions performed by a robot on a computer screen, creating a video or
simulation of the automated process.
• Interact - CheckDuplicate Activity: The CheckDuplicate activity assists
users in checking for duplicate transactions among those that have already
been indexed.
• Multiple Assign - Allowing you to assign values to multiple variables in a
single operation, eliminating the necessity for employing multiple Assign activities.
Enhancements
• OpenPublished - Workflow Menu: We've introduced the "OpenPublished"
option in the workflow menu on the Homepage to facilitate efficient navigation,
allowing users to easily access published packages.
• Try-Catch Feature: To streamline error handling and improve code reliability,
a Try-Catch feature has been added. This allows users to wrap code blocks with
a try-catch structure effortlessly, enhancing overall code robustness.
• Intelligent Autosuggestion: We've implemented intelligence and auto-suggestion
features for variables and arguments, providing a faster and more error-free
development process.
• DesktopAutomation - DelayBefore & DelayAfter: In Desktop Automation
processes, we've added "DelayBefore & DelayAfter" parameters to enhance timing
control, providing more precision during automation tasks.
• WriteLog Activity Enhancement: The WriteLog activity has been enhanced to
improve the user experience by incorporating a dropdown feature for the "Loglevel"
type, offering better customization.
• WriteCell Activity Enhancement: To streamline bot development, the "Counter"
property has been implemented in the WriteCell activity, reducing the number of
steps needed to build bots.
• Auto-Suggestion for BusinessRuleException: Auto-suggestion features have
been implemented for "BusinessRuleException," further enhancing the
development experience.
Bug Fixes
1. Using keyboard keys (Up, Left, Right, Down) to select and move multiple
activities has been addressed.
2. The Designer no longer closes abruptly when the user clicks on
"Configuration" if the Chrome browser is not available; this issue has been
fixed.
3. The issue where the activities log was not updating in the product log for
added log change functionality has been resolved.
4. The issue of activities duplicating after drag-and-drop or double-clicking
on the activities has been fixed.
5. The issues related to namespace mismatch and the "RetryIntervalSeconds"
property not working in the RetryScope activity have been resolved.
6. The issue where the published version details were not updating in the
Solution Explorer has been fixed.
7. The issue of the version not getting incremented when we publish has
been resolved.
8. Toolbox and Property Window Resizing: We've addressed issues related
to the resizing of the toolbox and property window, ensuring a smoother user
interface experience.
9. Marketplace Download Window Glitch: We've fixed the recurring issue
where the marketplace download window would persistently appear even
after being closed, allowing for uninterrupted downloads and a better user.
10. The “Right-click” functionality on the activity was not working as expected,
now it has been addressed.
Known issue
1. The intelligence and methods won’t display on the first time. - The Auto
suggestion for the variables will not occur on the first instance, clear the name,
or press CTRL+ Spacebar to view the suggestion list.
2. The Designer and Runner cannot be installed on the same machine.
3. Screen recorder v1.0.2, will not support Image Automation feature currently.
