You can easily manage projects by using the Project Management's sub-menus that are available in the Asset Management menu.

The first step is creating a segment. A segment is a business such as banking, travel, healthcare, etc.  Creating programs, projects and then robots under one segment makes the automation process effective and makes tracking easy.

If the user has access to SmartSpec, he can capture requirements for the given project, using the capture requirement menu.  To know more, please refer SmartSpec module and its corresponding menus.  There, one will see in the very first screen, one has to provide a segment, program and project which are mandatory fields. So segment creation is particularly important.

It is mandatory to create a Segment, Program and a Project in order to create a robot.

Let us take a detailed walk-through of creating a segment. 

Go to the Asset Management menu and under the Project Management sub- menu, click on the section called Segment

Click on the Add button to access the Add Segment screen as displayed in the ensuing image.

Fill the Segment Name, Description, and Username. The Owner's Name gets auto populated. Save.

Select the Status and click on the Go button.

The segment is added and reflected in the Add Segment Page as displayed in the following image with all pertaining details including the date it was created. The user has an option to edit by clicking on the selection and using the Edit button.

Note: Multiple programs can be assigned to one segment and multiple projects can be assigned to one program.
