When to use the MoveMail Activity

Use this activity when you want to add and remove labels.

First drag and drop a Read Mail activity inside the Gmail Scope and fill all details in the property window as shown in the following image.

Drag and Drop a Move Mail activity and connect it to the Read Mail activity. (1). Specify the label to which the mail needs to be moved. (2) Pass the List of message variable name of the Read Mail activity, along with the Mail #, in the Mail Message field in the property window of the Move Mail (3). Specify the label from which the mail needs to be moved. (4) Fill appropriate details in all fields in the property window. Refer Figure 4. Execute (5.)

Note: In the Input field, specify the output from read mail activity along with the number of the mail that is to be moved. It reads from newest to the oldest mails. 0 will be considered as the first mail.

Managing Labels

You can use labels to tag, organize, and categorize messages and threads in Gmail. A label has a many-to-many relationship with messages and threads: a single message or thread may have multiple labels applied to it and a single label may be applied to multiple messages or threads.

Types of labels

Labels come in two varieties: reserved SYSTEM labels and custom USER labels. System labels typically correspond to pre-defined elements in the Gmail web interface such as the inbox. Systems label names are reserved; no USER label can be created with the same name as any SYSTEM label. The following table lists several of the most common Gmail system labels:
